Want your CTS or CPC certification? Not sure how to begin? Since 1961, the National Association of Personnel Services has been certifying recruiting and staffing professionals nationally. Today, there are more than 10,000 professionals designated as CPC’s and CTS’. Over 300 professionals are dually certified, a trend that continues to grow as the market and demand dictates more blended capabilities. Certification is viewed by the business community and the industry as a seal of excellence. Fortune Magazine in its July 20, 1998 issue reports that one way to choose a recruiter is to ask if they’ve been certified. Maintaining certification requires gaining continuing education through ongoing professional development or training experiences.
We’re going to make it very easy for you! CTS (Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist) and CPC (Certified Personnel Consultant) are important designations to hold as a professional in this industry!
Order your training materials and pay the discounted “TAPC” rate for the certification exam and materials by faxing the study material order form below to 1.888.974.2272. The test and study materials cost $350.00 for members and $440.00 for nonmembers. Once you have registered and paid, you will receive your study materials.
The author of the study and test material from NAPS will be our guest trainer! Our last (and largest!) Certification/Immersion Day class yielded a 100% pass rate at the 2007 TAPC Conference!
At the upcoming TAPC annual conference (in Austin, Texas), we will have a “Certification Immersion Day”. You must register for Immersion Day at the conference on the main conference registration form or online at www.tapc.org in order to participate in the day and take the test on April 24, 2008 at the conference! (cost is $49 and includes lunch) On Thursday, April 24, 2008 the day will be dedicated to those people wishing to be certified. All you have to do is sign up for the session (with or without your conference registration), register for the materials and test through NAPS by faxing your form to TAPC (below), study the materials at your leisure prior to April 24, 2008, and take notes. You also have the option of logging onto the weekly webcast review sessions produced by TAPC that run for 6 weeks and lead up to Certification Immersion Day on Thursday, April 24, 2008. The Immersion Day is a facilitated group discussion and review/study session and sections of the manual will be discussed. Practice tests and questions will also be reviewed with the group. The facilitator makes it fun and interesting and discussing the topics with your peers brings you new perspective and information! At the end of the afternoon you will feel ready to take the test! You will be given up to 2˝ hours to complete the test immediately following the review session. Your results will be available at the special graduation ceremony at lunch on Friday, April 25th
