Two Days That Will Change The Way You Hire, Retain, Manage, and Get Greater Results!

"Generation X and Y candidates do not respond to the old methods. They have different values and require new approaches. But Bill is a baby boomer, and he can't hear it." -From the NAPS Keynote, "Reconstructing Danny"

Our recruiters are Generation X and Y candidates who happen to work for us!! We have to make changes not just in our placement process to reflect our candidate's value system, but in our day to day management techniques. Take a glimpse into the recruiting market of the not so distant future!

PART ONE: Separating Myth from Reality What are the real generational changes, and which ones have just been hyped? We will define the generational value structures and get a better understanding of what they can hear, and what they ignore. This will NOT be material you’ve heard over and over again!

PART TWO: Hiring Practices Where do we find them? If there is a shortage of candidates and they're not responding to postings, well that's great when we need job orders, not so great when we can't add to our staff and build our companies. Danny will introduce the concept of CTO, and make live calls showing you how it's done.

PART THREE: Retaining Practices We've got some older Gen X and some baby boomers that we don't want to lose while we're revamping our styles, but how do we motivate them after they've heard our schtick for years? How much structure? How much flexibility? We will lay down some Sacred Rules, and roll out a hierarchy from Danny's search firm that you can modify for your office, regardless of your size.

PART FOUR: Managing Modern Metrics for Maximum Results Oh we love our sacred cows! But the successful firm is not counting the things they used to count. If your people are being held accountable only to "calling hours" and "sendouts", you've got real, systemic issues. Danny will unveil the new "email metrics".

PART FIVE: PDA Fever The fastest way to more profits is a higher PDA. We will review some closing and placement techniques Danny finds have become slack in the passive world of video and email communication.

PART SIX: Growth strategies Should you add contract? Should you add retainer? What are the pros and cons? How many people should you add? Should you have an LLC? Answers to these key questions and more.

PART SEVEN: Exit Strategies How to get out gracefully and with conspicuous wealth. Nothing is harder than selling a perm firm because no one knows how to properly value it. We'll talk about other, easier to implement options that didn't exist a decade ago.

This two day session runs concurrently with the rest of the TAPC Conference – there will be many opportunities to take advantage of the other activities throughout the conference! Lots of Q and A, lots of free wheeling, lots of improv....and a mystery guest or two! Danny’s two day program will be the most rewarding thing you’ve done for yourself and your business in a long, long time! And we’ll still leave time at the conference.
