Falconhead Golf Club is a 7,300-yard, par-72 PGA TOUR Signature Series Course that offers a simple and straightforward test of golf. The minimalist design elements create the look and feel of this country’s classic layouts. Golfers of all skill levels, including the top players in the world, will enjoy this course. The character of the golf course reflects the surrounding natural beauty and subtly blends and complements the Texas Hill Country.
Very little earth was disturbed during the creation of Falconhead. By utilizing the existing natural topography, carefully saving trees, capturing Texas Hill Country views and providing a variety of shot-making opportunities, Falconhead is a unique golfing experience unlike any other in the Austin area.
A round of golf at Falconhead Golf Club is well balanced. Players will need an equal number of fades, draws and straight shots. The variety in hole length, coupled with dramatic elevation changes and spectacular views provide a fair and enjoyable Texas Hill Country golf experience. The subtle details of the course design add challenge and enjoyment to the play. These features include four par 3s that play in four different directions, simplistic and deceptive greens, shaping that feeds balls back into play, multiple sets of tees and the minimalist design used to maintain and enhance the character of the existing site.
